Community Hospitality Healthcare Services has successfully invested New Markets Tax Credit allocation to support Sterling Health Care, Inc. for the construction of two new facilities in medically underserved areas in Kentucky. The new construction in Mt. Sterling consolidates three existing clinics into a two-story, 20,000 square foot facility and the second 2,500 SF health clinic, located in Carlisle, will be moved to a new 9,400 SF building, both facilities will offer primary care, dental, behavioral health and substance abuse services.  The target population has been traditionally underserved and suffers from a wide array of health needs and poor health outcomes. Both new facilities will enable SHC to expand health care services as well as accommodate a rising number of Medicaid, Medicare and uninsured patients served.
